The Board of Directors of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria is more than a group of business leaders; We are a team committed to creating a lasting legacy of cooperation and success. We focus on the power of collaboration and resilience, and continue to inspire many to dream big and work together for a better future.
In the vibrant heart of Sofia, Bulgaria, a group of visionaries came together with a shared dream: to build a strong bridge between Latin America and Bulgaria. Among them were Angelina Bankova, a Bulgarian businesswoman who has run a family business with a history of more than 40 years in the Bulgarian market, Ricardo Méndez , a Dominican-French entrepreneur, and Stoyanka Yordanova , a distinguished lawyer with extensive experience in International Trade.
Angelina has successfully run the family business in Bulgaria, facing and overcoming challenges for decades. His experience and knowledge of the Bulgarian market was invaluable. Ricardo , for his part, had arrived in Bulgaria with the passion and energy that characterizes Latin American entrepreneurs. With a multicultural vision and an innovative spirit, he quickly integrated into the Bulgarian business environment. Stoyanka , with her legal experience and dedication to promoting fair and ethical business relations, completed the trio of leaders determined to create a platform of support for business between the two regions.
During their careers, these leaders met many Latin American and Bulgarian businessmen who shared their dreams and struggles. It was then that the idea of the Latin American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria was born. Angelina, Ricardo and Stoyanka decided to join forces to create a platform that not only promoted business, but also celebrated the cultural richness of both regions.
The chamber's board of directors, led by Angelina as president, has become a family united by a common purpose. Each board member brings a unique story and an unmatched passion for building a better future for their communities. Together, they have proposed organizing trade fairs, cultural seminars and exchange programs that open countless doors for entrepreneurs and professionals from both regions.
One of the most impactful initiatives that the chamber wants to implement is the "Young Entrepreneurs" program, inspired by the own experiences of Angelina, Ricardo and Stoyanka. This program will offer mentoring and resources to young people from Latin America and Bulgaria who aspire to launch their own businesses, reminding them that no matter how great the challenges, with perseverance and community support, they can achieve their dreams.
